Fishery Information
Situated in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, Felton Fence Farm is a coarse fishery that offers phenomenal sport to the keen Carp angler. The venue consists of 2 lakes, both of which have numerous fishing features as well as a healthy stock of fish.
Probably the most popular site, the Fence Lake is approximately 1-acre in size. It boasts several spacious swims as well as a healthy stock of Tench, Roach, Bream and Carp.
Spanning approximately half an acre, Badger Lake is excellent spot for coarse fishing. Also, there are several accessible swims on offer. The waters are well stocked with Tench, Bream, Carp and Roach. The site is excellent for both the pleasure angler and the more dedicated specimen hunter.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench, Bream, and roach generally weigh between 3 and 8lbs. Moreover, Carp are commonly landed in double figures, with the bigger fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water methods work well. Additionally, worms, maggots, prawns, and sweetcorn are all popular choices of bait. Additionally, utilizing pellets and boilies during the warmer months can produce rewarding results.
