Findern Crossing Pool is a modest half-acre former ballast pit. It is shallow and densely overgrown, but supports a wide range of species such as pike and rudd in addition to carp and tench.
Only the five pegs accessible from the canal can be used for fishing. The towpath of the Trent and Mersey canal provides access to the pool.
