Fishery Information
Float Fish Farm and Fishery is located in Peterborough and is a very exciting fishing venue for all anglers. There are 10 lakes to fish at this complex, catering to every sort of coarse fishing imaginable. So, whether you want to catch 200lbs of quality f1s and silverfish or bag your first 40lb carp, you can do it just outside Peterborough. This fishery also has four new lakes opening soon, so there is even more chance to catch some beauties.
What size do the fish go to?
The largest carp on this complex are located in Lapwing Lake and get up to over 45lbs. There are also carp to over 34lbs in plenty of the other lakes. The match lakes on this complex also hold carp to over 20lbs. So no matter which lake you fish, you are always near a big carp here. There are also plenty of double-figure carp in every single lake.
What tactics work well?
With so many lakes at one venue, it would be nearly impossible to say which tactics work well on this site. If you’re going to Float Farm for the first time, stick to the tactics you know that work. Tactics you are most comfortable with. Most of the lakes have good features to fish to; use these to your advantage.
What facilities are on site?
There is a good quality bait and tackle shop with some very knowledgeable staff. There is also on-bank catering and plenty of advice to be shared.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available close to your chosen lake.
