The Fosse Hill Fisheries, located close to Brandesburton, is among the finest locations in East Yorkshire for fishing. The fishery comprises five fishing lakes that range in size from a half acre to three acres. These lakes have a rich stock of diverse coarse species such as carp, catfish, bream, rudd, chub, barbel, roach, tench, pike, perch, eels, and ide. Daytime and nighttime fishing are also available at this site.
Pond 1 is for match fishing and has depths that range from 3 1/2 to 6 feet. Pond 2 is a main specimen lake that spans two acres, flanked with trees, with depths range from four to twelve feet. The water body does not offer match fishing. The water depth of Pond 3a ranges from 3 to 5 feet, and it covers an area of 1 and a half acres.
Pond 3 is the largest of the lakes, surrounded by trees, measures three acres with depths that range from 3 to 6 feet. It also features three islands and a silt bottom. Pond 4 is a match-fishing lake that spans 3 acres and features a reed-fringed shoreline and depths that range from 6 to 16 feet.

Pond 1- Carp 24lb, Bream 5lb, Chub 3lb, Barbel 5lb, tench 3lb, Ide 3lb, Roach 1lb, Rudd 1lb.
Pond 2- Carp 34lb, Catfish 42lb, Tench 8lb, Bream 10lb, Eels 6lb.
Pond 3a- Carp 22lb, Tench 5lb, Bream 6lb, Eels 7lb
Pond 3- Carp 25lb, Tench 6lb, Bream 7lb, barbel 4lb +
Pond 4- Carp 25lb, Tench 4lb, Bream 4lb, Chub 5lb, Crucians 3lb, Ide 3lb plus a large head of smaller fish.
What tactics work well?
Coarse fishing tactics with a maximum of two rods. No keep-nets, boilies, ground bait, or barbed hooks.
