Known as one of the lakes in Shillinglee Day Ticket Coarse Fishery, Foxdale Pond is a small water that exudes an aesthetic appeal. It is home to stunning small carp and golden rudd. Its features include overhanging shrubs, small trees and reeds. The pond is being used as a breeding pond and is not available for fishing.
To get there, follow these directions. From Chiddingfold, take the A283 towards Petworth. Turn left at the cross roads where the tourist information points to lakeside fisheries and follow the above directions to the fishery. A map of the fishery is displayed in the car park along with a common sense set of rules and fees.
