Franks Lake is a beautiful lake covering approximately 2.75 acres. It operates from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm, and night fishing is available by arrangement with the Owner (see details below).
What size do the fish go to?
The lake is home to a variety of fish species, with Carp reaching sizes up to 30lbs, Tench up to 10lbs, Perch up to 4lbs, Pike up to 28lbs, Roach up to 2lbs, and Bream reaching weights of 4lbs and above.
What tactics work well?
For Carp, popular tactics include using boilies, pellets, and various carp rigs. Tench can be targeted using baits like worms, maggots, and corn, while Perch are often caught using small lures or live baits. Pike fishing is successful with deadbaits or lures, and Roach and Bream can be caught using maggots, casters, or bread.

Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available at the fishery. To access the lake, leave the M27 at junction 2 and head on the A36 towards Salisbury. At the Ower roundabout, take the first exit and then the first right at the Vine Inn. The entrance to the fishery is approximately 200 yards on the left down the lane, signed as Manor Equestrian Centre.
