Fishery Information
This 8 lake fishery is set into breath-taking parkland on the Sussex and Kent border. It has a lake for every coarse angler in England and is quickly becoming one of the best fishing venues in the UK. Once you have pre-booked your swim, you can show up at the lakes at 7am and get to fishing. All of the lakes have great quality fish, and many of them are growing rapidly too. So, there is a good chance of smashing your PB or even breaking a lake record at Frant.
What size do the fish go to?
The carp at this venue currently go to 35lbs plus. There are also perch to 4lbs, tench and bream to very nice weights and some lovely chub and dace as well. The specimen lakes are where the larger carp, bream, perch and roach are, but all of the main lakes do hold carp to 20lbs and plenty of double-figure carp too.
What tactics work well?
The tactics at the venue vary so much, with so many anglers travelling to this venue to target certain species. All we can say is if you’re heading to Frant Lakes for the first time, stick to what you know. Stick to a tactic that you’ve caught on before and only make small changes once the session is underway.
What facilities are on site?
There is a brilliant cafe, showers available to overnight anglers, public toilets, tackle and bait shop and plenty of seating to enjoy the lakes without a rod in your hand.
