Fishery Information
This 30-acre dammed estate lake is a specialist carp water that is 4 feet deep. Frensham Little Pond, also known as Little Frensham and Frensham Small Pond, is a historic, beautiful fishing site that is home to carp to 40 lbs., pike to 29 lbs., tench to over 7 lbs., rudd to over 3 lbs., perch to over 3 lbs. and roach to over 2 lbs..
There is a flushing toilet and drinking water on site that are available for members.
To get there, follow these directions. Take the A287 travelling south from Farnham. Follow this road to Millbridge and take the first left after the river bridge. After 1.5 miles you will arrive at the northern end of the lake.
There is an FAS car park adjacent to the Warden’s cottage. Please ensure that the car park gate is locked at all times. Use the warden’s cottage entrance for access and park only in the designated area without causing inconvenience to the warden, especially at night. There are many footpaths to the water.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to 40 lbs., pike to 29 lbs., tench to over 7 lbs., rudd to over 3 lbs., perch to over 3 lbs. and roach to over 2 lbs..
What tactics work well?
Rudd respond well to usual surface tactics of spraying maggots and a shallow presentation.
Feeder or waggler and maggots or worms are effective for catching tench.
For winter pike fishing, using dead baits presented near the reeds would be very rewarding.

Facilities include a flushing toilet, drinking water and car parking.
