Fishery Information
Managed by the Milton Keynes Angling Association, Furzton Lake is a large lake set surrounded by parkland in the suburb of Milton Keynes. Even though it’s huge, fishing is allowed only from the west side of the lake. Coarse angling on this water is allowed with season and day tickets. Good news! This lake is now open all year round.
With 70 acres of water and around 60 pegs, this fishery is well-stocked with barbel, carp, catfish, pike, tench and trout. Anglers have previously caught nets of roach reaching 40 lbs., bream reaching 60 lbs. and carp reaching 200 lbs. on this lake. Please note that anglers can use no more than 3 rods when fishing here.
Furzton Lake is located in the southwest part of Milton Keynes, to the north of Bletchley. It is on the west side of the interchange between the A5 and the A421, alongside Chaffrom Way and Watling Street.
