Gammaton Reservoirs are actually 2 reservoirs that make up a total of 4 acres in size. They are in a lovely rural location which is surrounded by farmland and trees. You can be sure to have a peaceful days fishing when you arrive here.
The fishing is controlled by Torridge Fly Fishing Club and if you are after a permit for the day it’s £20 this can be bought from Summerlands Tackle and allows you to take 3 fish home which we think is great value for money.
The average-sized of fish here is between 2lb and 4lb.
There’s also plenty of Perch in here so don’t be surprised if one of these takes your fly. When we looked at a catch report online it appears others were catching trout.
