Situated at the beautiful and peaceful Wickwater complex, Gillmans Lake is a small, mature lake that holds a variety of fish. This heavily stocked lake is home to bream, carp, perch, roach, rudd and tench. 1.5 acres in size and around 4 to 5 feet deep, this lake has a long island down the center.
Day tickets are available on site, but night fishing is not allowed. This venue is a perfect site for juniors and novice anglers. Even though it is beginner-friendly, the lake also caters for more experienced anglers.
There are 2 purpose built disabled swims on site, which can be found next to the car park. There are also toilet facilities with disabled access on this fishery.
