Fishery Information
The picturesque Test Valley is home to Golden Pond Fishery, in the midst of the rolling countryside. It features a one-acre lake with 16 evenly spaced swims, some of which are accessible by wheelchairs. There are also lilies and willows that hang over the edge of the pond, in addition to excellent fishing along the margins.
The fishery is wonderful for anglers of all experience levels, from novices to seasoned veterans. Tench, Rudd, Fantails, specimen carp, Roach, and large Perch are just some of the coarse fish found in Golden Pond. Sturgeon can also be found in the lake. Fishing is from dawn to dusk every day throughout the year and night fishing is by arrangement.
What size do the fish go to?
Specimen carp can go up to 23lb
Roach can go up to 3lb
Sturgeon in the lake can go up to 8lb

No keepnets, or nut baits
All anglers to have unhooking mats and landing nets
