Golden Loch Fishery is a small stillwater loch located in the rural undulating terrain of North Fife. The loch has a long history of being used for fly fishing. It has perfect seclusion thanks to its location in a small valley, giving it tranquility, unrivaled quiet, and a sense of privacy.
Most of the fish caught are Rainbow trout, and there is a healthy population of brown trout. Additionally, blue trout are in the water, although they are more difficult to capture. The Goldenloch is a recreational fishery and a place to unwind, rest, and watch wildlife such as otters, squirrels, osprey, ducks, and swans.
You are free to fish from a boat or the bank, and you may use a canoe or float tube if you like. It is children and dog friendly, although anyone under the age of 16 must wear goggles and a life jacket kept on site for everyone to use. Expert instructors are on hand, as is all equipment required. Golden Loch can customize programs to meet your needs.
