Fishery Information
This fishery is run by Pulborough Angling Society.
Six of the Society’s nine lakes are situated at our Goose Green complex near Ashington, West Sussex. These lakes, owned by the Society, offer in excess of 75 pegs and provide superb pleasure and match fishing in an open woodland environment. The lakes vary in size and depth and are home to a diverse range of bird species, including Blue, Great & Long Tailed Tits, Tree Creepers, Nightingales, and soaring Buzzards.
We have undertaken extensive renovation work at Goose Green, enlarging and deepening all but two of the lakes. The areas surrounding the lakes have been landscaped and replanted with native tree species, and the pathways have been improved. Accessibility was a priority, and the lakes can be accessed via landscaped slopes designed with input from our less able-bodied members.
The car park, conveniently located adjacent to five of the six lakes, offers ease of access, especially for our disabled members.
