Fishery Information
Located in Fishlake, Doncaster, Grange Farm Lake offers excellent sport to both the beginner and more seasoned angler. The water boasts a variety of fishing features, such as reeds, mature trees, and an Island. Furthermore, there are several spacious pegs, many of which are accessible to the disabled angler.
The Fishery is locally run and is open to both leisure and match anglers. Also, the waters are very well stocked with Bream, Tench, Perch, Barbel and Carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench and Perch tend to weigh between 3-7lbs. Moreover, Barbel are generally landed at around 8lbs. Carp commonly reach double figures, with the larger fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Maggots, caster, and worm are popular baits. Additionally, utilising pellets and boilies can be effective during the warmer months. Small diameters and hook sizes are recommended, as well as fishing on the rod end.
What facilities are on site?
There is a café on site which prepares fresh food and sells a range of hot and cold beverages. Furthermore, clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to guests.
