Greavesend is a fishing club located in the East Yorkshire region. The private members’ fishery is the perfect place for those seeking tranquility, peace, and fishing for a wide variety of high-quality fish. The size of the pond is approximately two acres, and its depth ranges from about two to about five feet.
The pond is home to many kinds of fish, such as grass carp, common carp, mirror carp, catfish, bream, and roach. Members have access to fishing day and night, from the beginning of March through the very end of October, but they must schedule appointments in advance.
The pond allows no more than eight people to fish at a time, except for full pond bookings, in which case the party organizer determines the number of anglers.
What size do the fish go to?
Some carp caught in 2021 weighed up to 25 pounds, and catfish up to 86 pounds. In addition to the big cat, other catfish caught weighed 36 pounds, 20 pounds, 15 pounds, and even less than those weights.
