Fishery Information
Greencroft Pond is a lake spanning an area of one acre and managed by the Stanley and District Angling Club. It is a small and welcoming mixed-coarse fishing club located in Greencroft Industrial estate in the County of Durham.
There are 22 well-built platforms to fish from, and enough parking close by. Carp of many varieties, including common, mirror, crucian, and brown goldfish, as well as roach, rudd, skimmer, bream, tench, chubb, and gudgeon, are among the most abundant fish in the lake.
The fishery provides an inclusive fishing experience for all anglers by making the front pegs accessible and by designating a larger-than-average peg specifically for anglers with impairments.
