Fishery Information
Located at the heart of Cheshire, Greenwood Fisheries is set in an 8-acre privately-owned, non-profit-making, rural generation project. This venue is open throughout the year, except Christmas and special maintenance days. They allow day and night fishing on site.
Both the Kingfisher and Lagoon lakes provide excellent fishing experience to pleasure anglers. These waters are heavily stocked with coarse fish, which include carp to double figures.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to over 20 lbs, chub to 4 lbs and barbel to 7 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Typical tactics include pellet and standard waggler, slide float, pole and feeder and bomb. Pole tactics also work well on the Lagoon Lake. All types of baits work well on both lakes.
What facilities are on site?
On-site facilities include a car park, fishing pegs, disabled pegs and catering.
