About six acres in size, Grimshaws Lake is accessible to anglers with a General Members Ticket. Located in Derby, East Midlands, it was part of a program of ongoing stocking from the stock pond (now the Poysers Pond), and it contains a significant number of carp weighing between four and thirty pounds. More than 10,000 roach, bream, rudd, and 2,000 crucian carp, have been introduced into the pond. Because so many of the smaller fish were eaten by cormorants, the water is now best suited for larger size carp.
