Fishery Information
Regarded as one of the leading fisheries in Cheshire, Hamptons Spring Fishery is situated in a picturesque countryside. Suitable for both beginner and seasoned anglers, this complex is made up of 8 separate spring-fed lakes that vary in size, features and fish species. All of the lakes are well-stocked with their own farm-reared coarse fish. With both pleasure and match waters and a specimen carp lake, this fishery is ideal for anglers of all skill levels.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp go to 26 lbs, perch to 2 lbs, chub to 4 lbs and barbel to 5 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Feed little and often. Fish margins as tight as you can. Fish to island and lily beds but don’t rule out open water. Scale down tackle and use 6 mm cubed meat. Sweet corn produces good results when put in the margins. Maggots, castors and worms work well for winter fishing.
