Set near Wainfleet, Lincolnshire, Havenside-Waters Fishing Lake is a stunning location that offers excellent sport to the dedicated Carp angler. The lake spans approximately 1.5 acres and hosts various fishing features, such as two small Islands. Furthermore, the grounds are covered in wildflowers and shrubs.
Additionally, the waters are healthily stocked with Bream, Roach, Tench, Barbel and Carp. Furthermore, there are numerous spacious pegs, several of which are accessible to the disabled angler.
Fishing is available Monday to Saturday from 7am to 7pm.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench and Roach tend to weigh between 2 and 7lbs. Carp are caught frequently in double figures, with larger specimen reaching 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water tactics tend to be effective. Moreover, worms, sweetcorn and maggots are popular baits. Additionally, utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months is beneficial.
