Haverholme Park Lake is a short distance outside of Ewerby in the area of Anwick in Lincolnshire. The lake, located in the middle of nowhere, is quiet when it is warm, but it is a beautiful lake, with a good head of carp. Pike, lots of roach, bream, skimmers, and gudgeon are the other fish species in the lake.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp can go to around 22lbs, and Pike up to 32lbs.
What tactics work well?
Choose bright pop-ups placed approximately two inches above the bottom, boilies cast out to the middle and tipped with corn, or a stack of corn fed around corn, maize, and pellets.
