Fishery Information
Controlled by the Hemsworth Town Council, Hemsworth Water Park offers fishing all year round and is home to 2 attractive lakes. The larger lake has sandy beaches and is available for pedalo rides. It holds lots of roach, skimmer, bream, perch and carp to 36 lbs. On the other hand, the smaller lake is in a secluded area that boasts beautiful wildlife. It is home to roach, skimmer, bream, perch and carp to 16 lbs.
Both lakes are well-established, well-stocked and currently available for fishing from dawn until dusk. Each lake has 36 pegs. There are plenty of grassed areas on the venue that are perfect for games or picnics. However, camping and BBQs are not permitted on site.
This venue allows match fishing bookings through the administration office. Day tickets are available and night fishing is not allowed. Concessions are available for local residents.
