Fishery Information
Situated 5 minutes away from the historic village of Clare, Hermitage Fisheries is a picturesque setting that offers excellent sport to the keen Carp angler. The site comprises of 3 lakes in total, all of which boast a healthy stock of fish and numerous fishing features.
The venue is open year-round from 7am until 8pm, with day tickets costing £10 for adults and £5 for children. Additionally, discounts re offered to disabled and elderly angers.
There are various fishing features such as mature trees and reeds, which offer shelter from the elements as well as a home to various wildlife species.
The lakes host a heathy stock of Bream, Tench, Roach and Carp.
What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench and Roach tend to weigh between 2-7lbs. Carp are frequently recorded in double figures, with the largest specimens exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with maggots, worms or sweetcorn tends to be a popular method. Furthermore, during the warmer months, anglers should utilise pellets and boilies.
