Fishery Information
Set in 25 acres of idyllic and peaceful Staffordshire countryside, Heronbrook Fisheries are situated just off the A519 at Slindon, 2 miles from Eccleshall. It has 6 beautiful pools you would surely love to try. Each of the pools were built and designed by owner Neil Dale. The Specimen Pool is their first and most established water, which was opened in 1994. The Match Pool is their second water, which was built shortly after the Specimen Pool. These pools have been combined and now called the Match Lake. This big pool has 65 pegs in total.
Built and designed in 1996, the Canal is suitable for pole anglers. In 2003, the Island Pool and the Bridge Pool were opened and the Canal was extended. The Meadow Pool is their newest water that was opened in 2004.
Heronbrook Fisheries is indeed popular with club anglers and major events. Every year, from April to October, all pools are booked for club matches. Major events that were held on site include AT/Maver Pairs, Fisho qualifiers, UK Individual Championships, AT Supercup, Drennan Super League, NFA Disabled National, NFA Womens National, Police National and Army National.
This venue is also used for DVD and National Magazine features.
