Fishery Information
This fishery is made of three different fishing ponds that were built especially for coarse fishing. Even though they’re not that large, spanning across a total of 1 acre, they come with a decent stock, ready to satisfy both novice and professional anglers.
Speaking of stock, the three ponds have Carp, Tench, Rudd and, Roach. The species can be caught all day long throughout the week – dawn until dusk schedule. A single day ticket costs £5. An additional £1.50 is added for those that want to fish during the night as well. When it comes to rules, the fishery doesn’t allow barbed hooks nor Carp in keep nets and unhooking mats are compulsory.
The ponds are not lined with trees and are located in quite an open space. As such, during windy days, anglers might want to bring an extra layer of clothes with them, depending on the time of day.
What size do the fish go to?
All species/specimens are of average size.
What tactics work well?
Carp is best caught with boilies, corn, bread, sweetcorn, and nightcrawlers.
Tench is keen on slugs, worms, casters, and red maggots. Pellets, boilies, and prawns also work – and they can catch Rudd and Roach as well.
Roach, Rudd, and Tench are caught rather easy with a selection of Jiggly baits.
