Fishery Information
This fishery is run by Ringwood and District Angling Association. It’s a pretty big gravel pit as it’s 22 acres in size. However, it only goes to 13ft at its deepest, which is actually quite shallow compared to a lot of gravel pits.
It’s a very mature fishery and is surrounded by lots of trees and plants. In the middle, there is an island that’s pretty big as that’s 4 acres in size.
Due to the size of the venue, the fish here grow really big. The biggest carp to date to come out of the lake is 45lb. There’s also plenty of big bream, roach and tench to be caught.
There are some very big, special crucian carp but they are quite rare and seldom caught.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to 45lb

Ledger works well here. Try and get close to the island if you can.
