Located in Ince, Lancashire, Hindley Square Lodge offers the ideal location for those looking for a peaceful day’s fishing. The site comprises of 2 small ponds, both of which host numerous fishing features.
The first pond has several swims available, a few of which are suitable for elderly and disabled anglers. Furthermore, reeds, overhanging trees and lily pads all add to the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the water is well stocked with Bream, Tench, Chub, Roach and Carp.
The second lake is a deep pit that also affords fantastic fishing. Again, there are numerous swims available as well as a healthy stock of fish species. This spot is extremely popular and can get busy, especially on the weekends.

What size do the fish go to?
Bream, Tench, Chub and Roach typically weigh between 2 and 7lbs. Furthermore, Carp are commonly landed in double figures, with larger fish exceeding 20lbs.
What tactics work well?
Light floats tend to be extremely effective. Also, utilising pellet and boilies during summer helps to entice larger Carp. Luncheon meat, maggots and worms are all popular choices of bait.
