Fishery Information
Located near the idyllic village of Colne on the edge of Cambridgeshire fen, Holme Fen Fishery is known for carp fishing. In addition to providing a memorable fishing experience to anglers of all skill levels, they also manufacture top quality nutritional carp bait under the name of Premium Carp Food.
Covering 23 acres, the Meadows currently holds approximately 200 fish including carp to 71 lbs. This pool is primarily booked as a lake exclusive venue and can accommodate up to 10 anglers on a weekly basis.
On the other hand, the Poachers Pool covers 4 acres and holds approximately 120 carp to 38 lbs. This water is available for individual bookings of 48, 96 or 144 hours or group bookings of up to 3 anglers.
Contributing to the overall beauty of the venue, features of the lakes include Norfolk reed, bulrush and lilies in the margins and island shelves. Additionally, there are hundreds of trees around the complex. For added security, they installed a fence around the whole perimeter.
