Fishery Information
Ivy House Lakes is a 22-acre fishing complex with six lakes in Grittenham. There is a lake for everyone at this venue. Whether you want to catch monster carp or try and nail one of the prettiest tench you’ll ever see, this is the fishery for you. The specimen lake is the lake for the carp anglers. The match lake has some of the best and quickest action on the venue, though. There are also smaller lakes and a stretch of canal that are perfect for pleasure anglers or beginners.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp at this venue go to the mid-30lbs. In the match lake, the carp are over 20lbs as well. Some of the carp in this venue are stunningly beautiful like they were carved out of wood. There are also big tench, bream, roach and rudd and some impressive perch as well.
What tactics work well?
Most of the lakes on this venue are fished for carp, so most carp tactics tend to work well. If you are a match angler, don’t forget your pellets because they will be your secret weapon at this venue.
What facilities are on site?
There is a brilliant tackle and bait shop on site where the staff can recommend the best baits to use at the time of your visit. Once you’ve got your baits, head to the cafe for a full English before you start catching fish. There are also toilets available.

Parking is available close to all of the lakes.
