Fishery Information
Situated in Nottingham, Janson Fishery is a fantastic venue that offers excellent fishing to both the pleasure and match angler. There are a total of 8 lakes on site, therefore Janson Fishery really does have something to offer everyone.
All of the lakes offer a variety of fishing features, as well as pegs that are fully accessible to the disabled and elderly angler. The waters are home to a healthy tock of Perch, Bream, Roach, Tench and Carp.
Both day ticket anglers and members are welcome to the venue. Ticket prices for the day start at £6, with discounts being offered to juniors and over 65’s.
What size do the fish go to?
Tench, Bream, Roach and Perch tend to range between 2-8lbs. Carp are frequently landed in double figures, with larger fish approaching 30lbs.
What tactics work well?
Standard still water tactics tend to be effective across most of the lakes. Furthermore, using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms can help to entice the larger Carp. Additionally, anglers may consider utilising pellets and boilies during the warmer months.
What facilities are on site?
There is a café on site which sells freshly prepared food, as well as a range of hot and cold beverages. Accommodation is offered at the location, in the form of both camping and glamping. Clean and accessible toilet facilities are open to visitors.
