Kailzie Fishery is situated next to the River Tweed, nestled in the beautiful Border hills. It provides the perfect environment for anglers. The fishery is 2 acres in size with an average depth of 12 feet. The water source is burn-fed. The fishery is stocked daily to maintain a good head of trout at all times. The fish stock consists of top quality Triploid and Blue Rainbows, ranging from 2 lbs to double figures. The current overall record at the fishery is a 22 lbs Rainbow Trout landed in 1998 by Edward Williamson, but the record since Jimmy took over the fishery stands at 17.5 lbs by Joe Dodds in September 2013. Kailzie Fishery caters to all types of anglers, from beginners to experts.
