Kennick Reservoir, a stunning 50-acre Dartmoor water, is the jewel in the crown of fishing in the South West. With fantastic views, a peaceful atmosphere, and excellent fishing, this reservoir offers a superb angling experience. Kennick is regularly stocked with rainbow trout from 2lbs to 6lbs, and there is a resident head of wild brown trout up to 8lbs (all brown trout must be released if caught). Boats are available for hire, but booking is essential. Kennick Fly Fishers Association organizes competitions, beginners’ days, and social events at the fishery.

What tactics work well?
