Fishery Information

Killyfole (Mill Lough) is a redundant reservoir located between Lisnaskea and Rosslea in east Fermanagh. The fishery covers an area of 22.6 hectares, and the south side of the reservoir is firm and gravelly with a long slope. The north side is softer. There is a dangerous area in the north-west corner where a warning notice indicates sandy banks and deep water.

Anglers can catch pike, perch, roach, bream and tench at Killyfole.

What are the fishing regulations at Killyfole?

Fishing at Killyfole is allowed all year round using all lawful methods including ground bait and maggots. There is a daily bag limit of one pike per person or four coarse fish per day. Pike weighing 4kg and over and coarse longer than 25cm must be returned to the water. Fishing from boats is not allowed.

Facilities on Site

Killyfole offers facilities for anglers with disabilities, including four disabled angling stands accessible from the car park/layby on the B36, main Donagh to Rosslea Road. The surfaced path gives good access from the car park to the angling stands.
