Kinross Fishery is in the center of Perth and Kinross, close to several notable historical sites. These include Loch Leven, well-known for its brown trout fishing, and Loch Leven Castle, the location of Mary, Queen of Scot’s imprisonment in 1567. It is ideally located for travel from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth, Stirling, and Dundee, all of which benefit from tourists not only looking to catch quality sports fish but also from visiting the other attractions in nearby areas of Scotland.
The fishery provides:

- Float-tube fishing on four waters in one of Scotland’s most prestigious areas
Open from 8:00 AM until dusk, all waters have Rainbow, Brown, and Blue trout stocked in them. These trout come from a premier hatchery in the area known for producing the most incredible quality and hardest fighting re-stocking trout in Scotland. It supplies blues predominantly in fly waters and two to twenty pounds of grade A blues, renowned for their strength and agility.
In addition, every week, they put double-digit Rainbow trout into the fly rivers. The fishery office sells permits, and you must make a reservation in advance. Bait rods are available for hire. Children under the age of 16 do not pay for fly fishing.
