Fishery Information
Lake Farm is considered a venue for recreational fishing with a great number of both large and small fish. It is located in the south of England, on the border of Dorset and Hampshire, and is less than 20 miles away from the cities of Salisbury, Bournemouth, and Southampton. While guests are enjoying their time fishing in the fully stocked carp lakes, the farm provides them with a relaxing atmosphere as well as catering services.
The main lake on the property spans an area of three acres. It is completely stocked with carp of both the common and mirror varieties. Golden rudd and tench are also in residence, plus some very big eels. The ponds and the main lake are both part of the same body of water.
At Lake Farm, there are no day tickets sold, and guests are the only people allowed to fish there. Children under the age of 16 years can only fish in the company of a parent or guardian. Night fishing is not allowed.
What size do the fish go to?
The largest carp ever caught at Lake Farm was 20 pounds, and the lake holds the record for the largest fish ever caught at 24 pounds.
