Fishery Information
The picturesque Lakeside Camping & Fisheries is in Saltfleetby, in the district of Louth, in the county of Lincolnshire. The venue offers three lakes stocked with a healthy aunt of fish suitable for anglers of all skill levels, from novices to professionals. The Lincolnshire Wolds, which have been classified as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, are located in close proximity to The Fisheries.
The fisheries are open throughout the entire year, and fishing is allowed from 7:00 am until the sun goes down. Carp, Crucian Carp, Bream, Perch, Tench, Rudd, Roach, Chub, and Skimmers are the key species of fish stocked.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp in the Main Lake can weigh up to 35 pounds, Tench to 8 pounds, Bream can weigh up to 7 pounds, Perch to 3 pounds, and Chub can weigh up to 5 pounds.
Carp in the Island Lake can go up 20 pounds, Tench up to 7 pounds, Bream up to 6 pounds, and Perch up to 3 pounds.
Carp in the Kingfisher Lake can go up to 15 pounds, Bream up to 4 pounds, Tench up to 3 pounds, and Perch up to 3 pounds.
What tactics work well?
Before commencing fishing, both keepnets and landing nets need to be dipped. Only fishery feed pellets and barbless hooks are permitted.
What facilities are on site?
There are fishing pegs, restrooms, a cafe tackle shop, and bathroom, which all provide easy access for disabled customer. There is a tranquil small touring and camping site open to campers, tourers, and tents, and there is also a lodge and caravans available for hire.
