Fishery Information
Lakeside Fishery is a warm and welcoming family-owned fishery in Bedfordshire. It features two coarse lakes located in serene, natural surroundings that are rich in a variety of animals.
The top coarse lake encompasses an area of 2 acres and has a deepest point that measures 14 feet. It is a diverse fishery that offers opportunities both for recreational anglers and for those whose goal is to land larger specimens. The lake contains a sizable island, and each swim presents its own unique set of challenges, such as shallow and deep borders, varied depths, and vegetation growing along the edges of the water.
There are 27 swims, and each one has a stable platform made of either wood or steel. Wheelchair users should have no trouble getting around. The species of fish that make up coarse lake stock are as follows: carp (mirror, common, and crucian carp), bream, tench, perch, roach, and gudgeon, as well as other silver fish.
The bottom coarse lake covers an area of 2.5 acres, has a maximum depth of 18 feet, and features clear water. Tench, grass carp, roach, chub, and perch can all be found in healthy numbers in this lake.
The principle of first come, first served governs the distribution of swims. On the other hand, swims can be reserved in advance for groups and other kinds of events.
