Lakeside 1000 – Cosham is a PDAS maintained body of water that is both large and very productive. it provides excellent fishing opportunities for anglers of all skill levels. The fishery contains a significant amount of fish, such as Carp, Crucian, Bream, Roach, Chub, and specimen Perch weighing more than 2 pounds.
The body of water frequently plays host to activities organized by the landowner, some of which have the potential to cause minor disruptions in particular regions of the lake. Before you go fishing, make sure you check out the Lakeside Events page for more information. Representatives of the PDAS, including bailiffs and members of the fishing team, are allowed to access the water at any time to carry out tasks related to water management. Night fishing is for members only

What tactics work well?
Fly fishing is no allowed bu you can use coarse fishing tactics as long as you abide by the regulations set by PDAS, which include using a maximum of 3 kilo of bait per 24 hours, maximum stay on the water is 24 hours and fishing only on the South bank.

Is parking available?
Subject to certain rules – there are 3 car parks which can be used by all PDAS members on the South side of the lake. There are also times when specific PDAS anglers are able park directly behind their swim (parallel to the track – not right on the grass).
