Fishery Information
Located in the stunning surroundings of Aylesford, Kent, Larkfield complex sits within Leybourne Country Park. The complex comprises of a total of four lakes, Larky 2, The Railway, The Ocean and Island Lake.
Excluding the Railway Lake, all of the waters are home to very large Carp and Tench. Bream, Roach, Rudd and Pike are also present in all of the waters.
The Railway Lake is only stocked with around 25-40 Carp, however the location itself has an eminent history.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp in Larky 2 lake, The Ocean and the Island Lake are frequently caught in excess of 20lbs. The venue record stands at well over 40lbs. Tench in all of the lakes have weighed in at over 14lbs.
What tactics work well?
Using a feeder with sweetcorn or worms can result in decent catches of Bream and Carp. In the warmer months, it can be beneficial to make use of pellets and boilies.
