Lawfield is a 5 acre Fishery located on the moors above the village of Kilmacolm in peaceful settings. The fishery is now managed by a management group after being run as a commercial fishery by its founder Billy McFerren since 1989.
It is only possible to fish from the bank and platforms, and it can accommodate up to 30 anglers. The main loch has an average depth of 8 feet and is fly-only. The fishery is well-stocked with high-quality, hard-fighting rainbow, brown, blue, tiger, and brook trout from fish suppliers like the Belhaven Trout farms and the River A-E.

What facilities are on site?
The Lawfield fishing lodge is cozy, with plenty of sitting and a wood-burning stove. Anglers can buy hot and cold drinks, as well as food. There is a little variety of tackle available for purchase, decent parking options, and both male and female toilets. Anglers with disabilities are also accommodated, and there is a nice spot for them to fish right outside the resort.
