Fishery Information
Lenton Lakes is a two-lake fishery just off of the A1 near Huntington, Cambridgeshire. The two lakes on-site offer very different fishing. The first lake is a three-acre lake with 28 pegs. It is surrounded by beautiful mature trees and is a very peaceful place to fish. There are two islands to fish on this lake.
The second lake is the most exciting water on this venue for many anglers because it holds a lot of unknown specimen fish. This water has loads of islands and is almost lots of little pools joined together.
What size do the fish go to?
Lake one has carp to 26lbs, bream to 12lbs and tench to 7lbs. There is a good head of silverfish in this lake and some nice sized perch too.
Lake two, as we said, is a bit of an unknown. There are carp to 37lbs, tench to a whopping 11lbs and bream to 14lbs. Other than that, we don’t know! There could even be bigger carp, tench and bream!
What tactics work well?
Most people fish both of these lakes with carp tactics for all of the fish. Most of the anglers here are going for the larger fish of all the species. So, bottom fishing is the best way to go about it. PVA bags, method feeding, or single hookbaits are good methods. Exploring the islands in both lakes is also a good choice.
What facilities are on site?
There are disabled pegs on both lakes.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available.
