The Letton Court Estate is located between Hereford and Hay. There are breathtaking views across the Bredwardine Hills and the other naturally beautiful areas that surround the site, which includes the River and Oxbow lake. There is not a defined peg in sight, but there are indescribably beautiful views, specimen fish, and amazing wildlife.
Letton Court is not only about the fish, but also about the environment in which they live. This iconic country location features game and coarse fishing opportunities on the River Wye as well as the historic Oxbow Lake.
There are 1.5 miles of fishing available on the Left Bank of the River Wye, and the Oxbow Lake is seven acres in size. The Oxbow Lake is a members-only lake. It provides an exceptional fishing experience in an atmosphere that is peaceful and untainted by human activity.
Daytime fishing is only allowed from dawn until dusk, and the issuer has the right to decide whether nighttime fishing in small groups is allowed.
What size do the fish go to?
Past specimens include Salmon over 30lbs, Barbel over 14lbs, Tench over 10lbs, Carp over 38lbs, Chub over 8lbs and Pike over 30lb’s with other quality catches to be had.
