Fishery Information
Linbrook Lake can be found on the outskirts of the New Forrest and offers excellent carp fishing to be had all year round.
The lake itself is an old gravel pit that is 6 acres in size. There are only 11 swims on the lake which we think is amazing as it gives every angler almost 2 acres each which is hard to find.
There are lots of features to fish next to including reeds, an island, features in the margins and some gravel patches.
What’s really amazing is that these guys have gone to the effort of installing 240-volt electric sockets in each swim. It’s something I haven’t come across before but this means charging your bait boat, phones and everything else will be easy.
The carp in here are up to 38lb in weight and there are even some albino grass carp which go up to 25lb.
There are estimated to be over 20 fish that weigh over 30lb and over 250 fish weighing over 20lb. That really is a good stock of fish,
