Fishery Information
Located in Dunmow, Essex, the Little Easton Manor fishery is a rather remote fishing location that goes around a strip of Park Road. With only fields surrounding the lakes that comprise the fishery, this place is sure to provide anglers with a quiet fishing session.
Speaking of lakes, the fishery is made of four different ponds designed for coarse fishing. As such, the main stock consists of Perch, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Carp and other common coarse fish. Keep in mind that barbed hooks are not allowed on this fishing site – anglers can still rely on loose fed boilies or particle baits though.
Usually, pre-booking and tickets are available online, on the fishery’s website. However, depending on season or circumstances, purchases might be available only in their on-site shop.
What size do the fish go to?
The Weir Pond reportedly has Roach, Rudd, Tench, Perch, Carp, and Crucians of up to 20lbs.
Great Pond, on the other hand, features the same species but also adds some Carp and Pike specimens that are over 30lbs.
The Long and Church Pond feature Roach, Crucians, Perch, and Rudd, ideal for match anglers. These are of average size.
What tactics work well?
All coarse fishing tactics produce the best catch, especially maggots, casters, and the well-known boilies.
For the smaller species of fish, earthworms and Jiggly baits are recommended. More Carp can be caught with the help of corn, bread, and luncheon meat baits.
