Fishery Information
The Maldon Angling Society manages and controls the pair of small lakes known as Little Park Lakes, which are located in an easily accessible area.
The lower lake has an island and is home to a number of fish species, including carp, roach, rudd, giant crucian, and bream of considerable size.
The upper lake is only a few feet deep, and it is fed by a narrow stream. After being restocked and having its sediment removed, it is currently producing roach and perch, in addition to carp that put up a good fight up to low doubles. The lake also has a fair share of the occasional bream.
What size do the fish go to?
The lower lake produces carp that can go to the excess of 20lb while the upper lake has the occasional bream that can go to the excess of 7lb.
