Rhyl & St Asaph Angling Association leases Llyn Crud y Gwynt. It is stocked with Rainbow Trout and has a resident stock of Brown Trout (some quite large).
The lake is approximately 2 acres and is spring-fed, with crystal clear water. The trout are in great condition and fight well in the clear water. It really is set in a tranquil location, with no road noise, a few sheep, birds tweeting, and the call “I’m in again!” from your fishing partner.
It can be fished every day of the year except Christmas Day. The owner lives nearby, keeping a close eye on the lake and any potential predators!
