Cambrian Angling Association has fishing for wild brown trout on Llyn Cwm Corsiog. Any method is permitted. The lake is at around 1,720 feet above sea level and 1 and a half hours walk from Tanygrisiau.
What size do the fish go to?
The trout are numerous and very free rising, they run up to 3/4lb.
What tactics work well?
At 7 acres, Cwm Corsiog is an excellent early season lake until the weed grows in mid summer making some of it unfishable. It can still be fished successfully after then by changing to floating lines and dry flies, casting over the weed into clear patches. Any method is permitted.
