Fishery Information
Located in the picturesque county of Shropshire, Lower Hill Farm is a family-run campsite on a working farm. Known to many as a perfect glamping site, this venue is also home to 5 beautiful fishing pools that are available exclusively for campers and glampers. Please note that these pools are intended for pleasure fishing rather than serious angling.
The Campsite Pool is situated by the farm house, while the Wood Pool is situated at the lower part of the farm. Ideal for fishing, the Wood Pool is home to stunning carp, bream, tench, roach, gudgeon, barbel and perch.
The on-site pools are open from 7:30 A.M. until dusk. Night fishing isn’t permitted. Keep nets are not allowed unless prior arrangement was made.
What size do the fish go to?
Mirror and common carp go to 20 lbs.
What tactics work well?
Popular baits include maggots, corn, casters, bread, worms, sweetcorn and luncheon meat.
What facilities are on site?
On-site facilities include hot tub, Safari tent with hot tub, pod, shacks, Shepherd’s hut and yurts.
