Fishery Information
The Pendle Burnley & District Angling Association is in charge of the Lowerhouse Lodge, found on Knotts Lane in Burnley, Lancashire. There is a good stocking of carp, bream, tench, and roach, and bonus fish include eel, pike, perch, and the occasional trout. It is a lovely place to fish with an abundance of wildlife. Night fishing is allowed.
What size do the fish go to?
Carp to 25lb, Tench 7lb, Pike, Bream to 10lb, Roach, Chub, Eel 7lb
What tactics work well?
Any feeder tactics can be used which includes the bomb and PVA.
Barbless hooks only and only one rod during daylight hours between 1st of March until 30th of September and a maximum of two rods the rest of the time.
